
About Elizabeth J. Barber, P.A.
Elizabeth J. Barber is a longtime resident of the Sarasota-Manatee area having grown up in Bradenton and graduated from Manatee High School. Her strong ties to the area include her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law. Ms. Barber made the practice of law her second career, enrolling in Stetson at the age of forty-five. She and her husband Rick are parents of a son and a daughter, and grandparents to three lively little boys.
Ms. Barber has practiced law for the last twelve years in the areas of wills, trusts and estates, and business transactional law. She is thrilled to open her own practice where she can continue to serve and support a diverse portfolio of clients from all over the State of Florida with a results-oriented practice.
Ms. Barber is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and a past member of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program, the Historical Society of Sarasota County, and the League of Women Voters of Sarasota County.
